Colortape International Film Festival 2022 (Brisbane)

Home Truths was a quarter finalist in this festival and Lesley was nominated for upcoming film director award.


Lift-Off Global Network Melbourne 2022
Home Truths was awarded second place in the audience vote category (out of 96 films) and was a finalist in the Network round of judging (11 best films selected by network members and Lift Off judges).

We held the premiere screening at the Brighton Bay Palace Cinema on 3 November. It was a glittering night, attended by most of our supporters, including Bayside Council Mayor Cr Alex del Porto and Mr Josh Burns, MP for Macnamara.
The film was very warmly received by the audience of around 70 people.

Lift-Off Global Network Melbourne 2022

PLEASE VOTE FOR HOME TRUTHS AT THE LIFT OFF GLOBAL NETWORK FESTIVAL! This one is awarded by popularity as well as artistic merit.

Meredith Fuller OAM is working on the second draft of the eBook and hopes to have it ready for release by the end of 2022.

The eBook contains a wealth of information about why some people turn to violence, how to recognize the signs, how to get help and how to look after yourself. It includes short videos as well as written materials.

We are working hard on the eBook now, with the first draft completed and review underway. We will be coming back to you soon with more news about the eBook.

The film will be part of the virtual screening program, available world-wide. So our world premiere screening will be in Los Angeles! Peter Blackburn will represent the film at the award ceremony on 16 October. Thank you Peter.

We have gone over our $4,000 base target - THANK YOU!! We are starting the shoot - production has commenced!

PERRI CUMMINS, well known script supervisor/editor/writer/actor has completed work on our script and pronounced 'this film has to be made' - We agree.
