LESLEY COLEMAN - PRODUCER, WRITER, DIRECTOR
Lesley has co-produced all Mystical Dog’s productions. Her strengths as a producer are strategic and business planning and managing multiple projects simultaneously to meet budget and time lines. Her ability to work sensitively with people to form effective teams ensures her projects run efficiently, produce high quality work and are enjoyable work places.
In producing, she uses skills gained from more than 30 years’ experience in business, project management and consulting, including running her own management consulting business and the public-sector consulting business of a second-tier accounting firm. Lesley holds a BA and MBA from Monash University.
Lesley has directed numerous projects for Mystical Dog productions, including corporate videos (incorporating dramatic vignettes), actors’ show reels and scenes, and plays. Home Truths marks her first foray as a director of a short dramatic film.
Her more than 30 years as an actor, together with her consulting skills and understanding of text developed through her major in English Literature during her BA, gives her a broad suite of knowledge to bring to directing.
Her key influences in directing are Kim Farrant, with whom she studied script analysis and acting for about 18 months, Elizabeth Kemp, with whom she studied over five years, Paul Currie, with whom she studied for four years, and Julia Grace, with whom she has been studying for the last three years.
ROD WINNING - PRODUCER, CREW, EDITOR
Rod started Film Editor and Sound FX Editor / Mixer at Crawford Productions in the original Homicide days. He has worked in various crew and production office jobs in features, television and corporate productions. His crew experience runs to Assistant Director, camera operator, editor (video & sound). His recent Producer roles have included corporate roles, podcast and vodcasts including the 30 episode Tete-a-tete series and a number of short films. More than two decades of senior level corporate business management experience and a Bachelor of Economics gives Rod a strong grasp on the complex range of production responsibilities.


PETER BLACKBURN - 2ND UNIT DIRECTOR
Peter has completed 30+ theatre, film, web series and podcast productions, and has decades' long teaching experience in elite institutions such as the VCA, NIDA and The National Theatre Drama School. He is a graduate of the VCA Masters’ Program in Directing, and over about the past 15 years Peter has studied and worked with Larry Moss, acclaimed New York-based acting teacher, coach and director, in Australia and Los Angeles. Peter won the Mike Walsh Overseas Study Fellowship in 2019, which he plans to use for study in New York later in 2022.Peter draws from a very wide range of techniques when working with actors and is renowned for his ability to obtain deep and nuanced performances.
In 2021 Peter made the decision to make his practise available to the widest possible community of artists for the first time when he opened PB Coaching and Directing. Peter’s philosophy in working with actors is to make it enjoyable and challenging and a journey of self-discovery by honouring the work as always being bigger than ourselves.
MEREDITH FULLER OAM - ON SET PSYCHOLOGIST & ASSOCIATE PRODUCER
Meredith is a Counselling Psychologist who has dealt with domestic violence cases throughout her career. She was a child actor who appeared in many roles on television. She is a published author, a successful playwright, theatre director and media commentator. Her published work includes books on women working together, such as Working with Mean Girls. In this book, Meredith explores how women can improve what can be troubled working relationships with other women.


VICKI JONES - DIRECTOR OF PHOTOGRAPHY
Vicki is a fantastic stills photographer whose portrait subjects include the Queen and Hilary Clinton. She has also DP'ed a number of documentaries with a few awards to her name. She recently concluded principal photography on her first feature, Love Rewind which is currently in post production.
Vicki also has her own studio which she is converting into a sound stage.
